Sammy Sosa Gives Zero F*cks What A Hater Has To Say About His Bleached Skin – ‘I Do Whatever I Want!’
Yes, Sammy Sosa is lighter than he was a few years ago. And yes, he’s walking foolywang material for bleaching his own skin to "have a better life." But he could care less about what critics have to say. Get into his latest eyebrow raising statements inside…
Over the years, folks have been dragging and clowning former MLB star Sammy Sosa for his appearance. Honestly, claling out his actions aren’t wrong, but there is a wrong and right way to do so. We guess. Self hate is nothing to praise and folks need to keep it 100. Especially when kids are privy to the mess.
He’s definitely lighter than he was some odd years ago and he admitted in 2009 that he was using a “bleaching cream” that “whitens” his skin. He said he was using the cream to "soften" his skin and admitted that it had caused his skin to change color, but he was adamant that he wasn’t "racist." Whatever that would entail in his case.
Now, he’s defending himself from all of the backlash he has received over the years for bleaching his skin.
The retired baseball player, who is now a resident of United Arab Emirates, popped back in his cover story in Sports Illustrated’s newest issue .
“Look at what I am today,” Sosa told Sports Illustrated. “This is my life, and I don’t take garbage from nobody. I do whatever I want.”
Oop! Basically, mind your damn business.

The former MLB outfielder hasn’t been back to Chicago since the Cubs banished him over his alleged use of steroids. It’s reported he would be welcomed back with open arms if he issued an apology. However, that doesn’t seem like it’s ever going to happen.
“I never failed a drug test,” Sosa responded. “So why are you asking me about that, when they don’t have nothing on Sosa?”
Speaking of his alleged steroid use, it totally ruined his son’s life.
His 21-year-old son, Sammy Sosa Jr., was once an MLB prospect, however he never made it to the big league. He was bullied as a child after his father was accused of using steroids. He said his peers would constantly taunt him, calling him "steroid baby." He ended up quitting baseball because the bullying became too much for him. He never told his dad about it either.
Junior said he doesn’t speak to his father about what people say about him online either.
“It doesn’t affect him, but I’m sure he feels a certain way,” Junior said. “Like, ‘Man, I gave so many years and so much hard work for you guys, and now you want to undermine all that because of some decisions I’m making — some personal decisions that don’t affect you at all?’ ”
